On-Site Fabrication Facility: Optimizing Project Delivery for Regent Vietnam Textile Factory

REEPRO established an on-site fabrication facility at the Regent Vietnam Textile Factory project, enabling faster production, streamlined installation, and efficient delivery of more than 31,000 m² of pre-insulated PIR ALU duct system.

Bringing manufacturing closer to installation

For the Regent Vietnam Textile Factory project in Phu Tho Province, REEPRO adopted a dedicated on-site fabrication approach by setting up a production facility within the project area.

Instead of manufacturing all ductwork at its factory and transporting finished products to the site, REEPRO carried out fabrication, assembly, and direct supply to the installation team on-site.

This approach created a seamless workflow from engineering drawings and fabrication to installation, while enabling closer coordination between REEPRO and other MEP trades throughout the construction process.

Accelerated project schedule

By significantly reducing transportation time, air ducts could be delivered directly to each installation area as required. This ensured a continuous material supply, minimized installation delays, and helped maintain the overall construction schedule.

Greater flexibility for design changes

Industrial construction projects often require adjustments to accommodate site conditions or coordination with other MEP systems.

With fabrication taking place on-site, design revisions could be incorporated quickly, allowing new components to be manufactured within a short timeframe without the delays associated with off-site production and transportation.

Consistent quality control

Although fabrication was carried out at the project site, all production activities followed REEPRO’s standard manufacturing procedures and quality control processes.

Materials, equipment, fabrication methods, and inspection procedures were managed under the same quality standards applied at REEPRO’s manufacturing facilities, ensuring consistent product quality throughout the entire ductwork system.

Improved coordination across project teams

The on-site presence of REEPRO’s engineering and production teams enabled faster communication with the project owner, supervision consultants, the main contractor, and other subcontractors.

Site issues could be addressed promptly, helping reduce disruptions and improve overall project efficiency.
